Just think about that.
POTUS saying “If you love me…”?
That’s just beyond comprehension.
First, it’s not about you. We don’t pass bills because of our feelings toward you. Passing a bill has nothing to do with that. It’s not about you.
Second, Bills are passed on merit and we don’t know the details of the bill. It has not been introduced to Congress. How can we get behind something we know nothing about?
Nancy Pelosi said we would find out what was in the health bill once it passed. Is this becoming a trend? Are we the people just that insignificant.
Meanwhile, while Obama’s been out looking for love:
President Obama repeatedly asked members of Congress to pass the American Jobs Act last week. But when no Democrat filed Obama’s bill after he presented it to Congress, a conservative congressman swiped the name for his own legislation.
